FACILITY RULES

BASE Athlete Company LLC – Version [001] – Effective [10/13/2026]

1. Purpose and Application

  • These Facility Rules apply to everyone who enters the Facility, including Members, Guests, Minors and their Parents, Service Providers and their clients, team members, employees, and contractors, and spectators and other visitors.
  • The Facility Rules are incorporated into the Consumer Membership and Facility Use Agreement, the Service Provider Facility Use Agreement, and the Facility Waiver. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meanings given in those documents.
  • If these Facility Rules conflict with one of those agreements on fees, billing, cancellation, or termination, the agreement controls.
  • Everyone must follow posted signage and the instructions of Facility staff. Staff may address situations these Rules do not specifically cover.
  • These Facility Rules set standards for people using the Facility. They do not create any obligation of Facility to supervise any person or activity, to monitor compliance, or to enforce any rule in any particular case. Each person remains responsible for their own conduct and safety and, for Parents, the conduct and safety of their Minors.

2. Access, Check-In, and Waivers

  • Waiver first. No one may enter a Restricted Area until a current Facility Waiver is on file and verified for that person. Participation in any activity is not required for this rule to apply.
  • Check in every visit. Every person must check in on each visit using the Facility's check-in system or at the front desk.
  • Credentials are personal. Access credentials, badges, key fobs, and app access may not be shared, lent, or transferred. Letting another person in through a secured door (“tailgating”) is prohibited.
  • Service Provider clients. Individuals entering in connection with a Service Provider must be listed on that Service Provider's Authorized Person Roster before first entering the Facility.
  • Hours. Access is permitted only during posted hours of operation and any extended access hours stated in a member's or Service Provider's agreement. Facility may change hours, or close areas, for maintenance, events, weather, or safety.
  • Spectators. Spectators and waiting parents must remain in designated spectator and lobby areas and may not enter Restricted Areas without a verified Facility Waiver.

3. Minors

  • Under [12]. A Minor under [12] must be directly supervised at all times by a Parent or an authorized adult who remains in the Facility. This does not apply while the Minor is participating in a Facility Program or a scheduled session with a Service Provider responsible for that Minor.
  • Ages [12]–[17]. A Minor aged [12] to [17] may use permitted areas without a Parent present only if a Parent has authorized it in the Minor's Facility Waiver and membership records.
  • Weight room. Minors under [14] may use the weight-training area only while participating in a Facility Program or supervised by a Service Provider or Parent.
  • Recovery amenities. Minors under [16] may not use the sauna, steam room, or cold plunge, and Minors aged [16] and [17] may use them only with written Parent authorization.
  • Pick-up. Parents must pick up Minors promptly at the end of a program or session. Facility is not a childcare provider, and staff are not responsible for supervising Minors outside Facility Programs.
  • Parent responsibility. Parents are responsible for their Minors' conduct and compliance with these Rules, and for any damage their Minors cause.

4. Conduct

  • Treat everyone with respect. Harassment, bullying, discrimination, threats, intimidation, and violence of any kind are prohibited, in person and in Facility-related electronic communications.
  • No fighting, horseplay, or reckless behavior. Profanity or abusive language directed at any person is prohibited.
  • No weapons, including firearms, on Facility property, except as the law requires Facility to permit.
  • No alcohol, illegal drugs, or being under the influence of alcohol or drugs. No smoking, vaping, or tobacco or cannabis use anywhere on the property.
  • No gambling, and no unauthorized sales, solicitation, or commercial activity (see Section 14).
  • Follow staff instructions promptly. Refusing a staff instruction is a violation of these Rules.
  • Spectators, parents, and coaches must not verbally abuse or confront athletes, staff, officials, or other families.

5. Attire and Footwear

  • Wear appropriate athletic clothing. Shirts and athletic shoes are required in all training areas.
  • Only turf shoes, molded cleats, or clean athletic shoes are permitted on turf. Metal cleats are prohibited.
  • Remove jewelry or accessories that could create a safety hazard during training.

6. Batting Cages and Pitching Areas

  • Reserved time. Cages and pitching lanes are used by reservation through the Facility's booking system. Users must leave on time at the end of their reservation.
  • Helmets. Batters must wear a batting helmet at all times while hitting and catchers must wear full protective gear when receiving live pitching.
  • One batter per cage. Only one batter may hit in a cage at a time. Other people may be in the cage only as a coach, feeder, or pitcher behind a protective L-screen.
  • Protective screens. Anyone pitching or feeding live balls to a batter must stand behind a protective L-screen or other screen the Facility provides.
  • Pitching machines. Only Facility staff, Service Providers, or persons Facility has shown how to operate the machines may adjust or operate them. Use only Facility-approved balls in machines. Never stand in front of a machine or reach into it while it is running.
  • Entering and exiting. Do not enter a cage until the machine is off or the pitcher has stopped. Keep netting closed while hitting. Don't stand, lean, or sit against netting while balls are being hit.
  • Equipment. Use only bats in good condition that are appropriate for the ball being used. Facility may prohibit any bat it considers unsafe.
  • Report damage. Report torn netting, damaged screens, or malfunctioning machines to staff immediately, and stop using that cage.

7. Turf and Field Areas

  • Throwing, long toss, and fielding drills are permitted only in designated lanes or areas.
  • Hitting on open turf is permitted only in areas designated for it.
  • Stay aware of other groups. Do not cross an active throwing or hitting lane.
  • Facility may assign turf space among Facility Programs, Service Providers, and members. Facility Programs have scheduling priority.

8. Gym and Weight-Training Area

  • Use equipment only as intended and within your ability. Use collars on loaded barbells and a spotter for heavy or maximal lifts.
  • Drop weights only on designated platforms, and only bumper plates.
  • Re-rack weights and return equipment after use. Wipe down equipment after each use.
  • During busy periods, limit time on high-demand equipment and allow others to work in.
  • Stop immediately and notify staff if you feel faint, dizzy, or unwell.

9. Recovery and Specialty Amenities

  • Specialty amenities include the sauna, steam room, cold plunge, red-light or LED therapy, and other recovery areas. Follow posted instructions and time limits for each.
  • Consult a physician before use if you are pregnant or have a heart condition, high or low blood pressure, or any other medical condition that could be affected by heat, cold, or light exposure.
  • Do not use these amenities while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or alone if the posted instructions require a partner.
  • Shower before using shared water amenities. No glass containers in amenity areas.
  • Facility may limit or close amenities at any time for maintenance, sanitation, or safety.

10. Equipment and Property

  • Use Facility equipment only for its intended purpose, and return it after use.
  • Report damaged or unsafe equipment to staff immediately, and do not use it.
  • Personal equipment brought into the Facility must be in safe condition. Facility may prohibit any item it considers unsafe or damaging to Facility property.
  • Anyone who damages Facility property, other than through normal wear and tear, may be responsible for repair or replacement costs.

11. Scheduling and Reservations

  • Reservations for cages, lanes, turf, and other bookable areas are made through the Facility's booking system.
  • [Reservations cancelled less than __5_ hours in advance, and no-shows, may be treated as used and may be charged as the applicable agreement or booking terms provide.]
  • Facility may adjust or reassign reservations for Facility Programs, events, maintenance, or safety, with reasonable notice where practicable.

12. Service Providers

  • Service Providers must comply with the Service Provider Facility Use Agreement and these Rules, and are responsible for their clients', team members', employees', and contractors' compliance.
  • Before a client first enters the Facility, the Service Provider must list the client on the Authorized Person Roster. The Service Provider must confirm each client has a current Facility Waiver before bringing the client into a Restricted Area.
  • Service Providers must supervise their clients during sessions and keep sessions within reserved space and time.
  • Service Providers may not use the Facility for personal workouts, except for their own practice during batting-cage time they have reserved and paid for.
  • Only Service Providers with a current agreement, and Facility Program staff, may provide paid instruction at the Facility.
  • Service Providers must keep required insurance, certifications, and credentials current and provide proof on request.
  • Sessions with Minors. Service Providers must conduct sessions with Minors in areas that are open and observable, and may not have one-on-one interactions with a Minor that cannot be observed and interrupted. Electronic communications with a Minor about training should include the Minor's Parent.
  • Service Providers may not present themselves as Facility staff, or their services as Facility Programs.

13. Photography, Video, and Recording

  • Personal photos and video of your own group or session are permitted. Do not photograph or record other people's Minors without their Parent's consent.
  • No photography or recording is permitted in restrooms or changing areas.
  • Service Providers may record clients only with the client's consent (or, for a Minor, the Parent's consent) and in compliance with the Service Provider Facility Use Agreement.
  • Livestreaming requires Facility approval. Drones are prohibited.
  • The Facility uses security cameras in public and training areas, but not in restrooms or changing areas. Security recording is governed by the Facility Waiver. Promotional photography and video are governed by Appendix A of the Facility Waiver, including its opt-out and confidential safety-request rights.

14. Solicitation and Commercial Activity

  • Facility may remove unauthorized postings or materials.

15. Personal Property and Storage

  • Facility is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property. Do not leave valuables unattended.

  • Anyone who needs an accommodation to use the Facility may contact the front desk or info@onbaseathlete.com.

20. Enforcement

  • Facility may warn, remove, or deny entry to any person who violates these Rules or whose conduct Facility considers unsafe or disruptive. Facility may also suspend or terminate a membership or Service Provider agreement as that agreement allows.
  • Facility may decide how to respond to any violation, and its choice not to act in one instance does not waive any rule.

21. Changes to These Rules

  • Facility may update these Rules. Facility will post revised Rules at the Facility and on its website or app, and material changes take effect ten (10) days after posting.
