A Pennsylvania native and left-handed pitcher, Brandon played at the University of North Carolina before becoming a Seattle Mariners draft pick. He spent four years in the Mariners organization, completed his Business Administration degree at UNC, and now brings that professional pitching background directly into facility leadership and youth player development at ONBASE Athlete.

Yousef Zamat, MS, CSCS, RSCC, CES, brings more than two decades of experience developing athletes across professional baseball and private performance training. He holds a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Northern Illinois University and has worked with the Detroit Tigers, San Francisco Giants, and Los Angeles Dodgers. His background includes individualized training, nutrition, injury prevention, and rehabilitation work coordinated with medical staffs.

Casey became the first position player in University of Saint Katherine history to sign professionally. He went on to win league championships with the Monclova Acereros and Grand Junction Rockies, advanced to big-league spring training with Oaxaca, and finished his playing career with the Rocky Mountain Vibes. He later spent three years coaching hitters privately in the San Diego area before bringing that development experience to ONBASE Athlete.

Plaz brings five years of experience in the Cincinnati Reds organization to his new role, most recently serving as the Assistant Hitting & Outfield Coach for the Louisville Bats, the Reds’ Triple-A affiliate. He began his coaching career with the ACL Cubs in 2022 following his retirement as a player. Originally signed by the Reds as an international free agent out of Venezuela in 2015, Plaz spent four seasons as an outfielder in the Cincinnati organization, batting .278 across 173 professional games before transitioning into coaching and player development.
